2020 Vitality Big Half for CRASH

Our staff regularly take part in fundraising activities for CRASH: a charity that has been the UK construction industry’s social impact partner for more than two decades.

This year, Aaron Atkinson BIM/Visualisation Manager at A J Morrisroe & Sons accepted the challenge to compete in the 2020 Vitality Big Half along with six other runners from CRASH Patrons 8build, Hanson, Knauf, Sto and Fundraising Champions N-Able Group.

They all completed a 13.1 mile run to raise vital funds for CRASH and the money raised will enable the charity to continue supporting homelessness charities and hospices with their building projects, in a time where those who are vulnerable are most in need.

‘‘I DID IT! I am really happy with my result for my first marathon run, I can’t wait for the next one," says Aaron.

Meanwhile, Lucie Gillard, Fundraising Coordinator at CRASH, congratulated the runners on their achievements, commenting: ‘‘It’s been a pleasure to support the runners with their fundraising and getting race ready. Each one has gone above and beyond to reach their fundraising targets, raising an incredible £3,150 for CRASH. Our work wouldn’t be possible without your support, thank you!”
