Charity Focus: Resourceful Women’s Network

This year, we were delighted to support grassroots charity Resourceful Women’s Network with a brand refresh and new website, enabling them to reach and improve the lives of more women in North West London.

Resourceful Women’s Network (RWN) is the new name of registered charity Harrow Women’s Centre. RWN has provided essential support services to over 30,000 women in the community of Harrow, Barnet and Brent since the charity was established in 1992. It is run by women for women and provides information, community and support to women in need.

Women of all ages, ethnicities and backgrounds can attend regular drop in sessions and access crucial resources and services including family law legal advice, low cost counselling and employability advice and support.

It has been a difficult time for small charities, many struggling to cover their overhead costs. I am glad we have been able to provide some support and assistance to the RWN this year. I know they are working very hard to meet an ever-increasing local need and I do hope we can help them to meet their fundraising targets for next year so that their vital work can continue.

RWN is currently fundraising to help support plans to start a job clinic, increase group sessions and widen access to services to women across London with a mobile ‘outreach bus’.
