Delivering Social Value Through CRASH

We have been a patron of CRASH since 2015: a charity that supports hostels for the homeless and hospices by channelling the professional expertise, products and donations of their patrons towards life-changing building projects.

In 2021, we provided donations, professional expertise and products totalling £51,692 in the financial year November 2020 to October 2021.

RennieGrove Hospice Care

Rennie Grove Hospice Care is based in Hertfordshire and provides care and support for patients in Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire who are diagnosed with life-limiting illnesses. The care provided includes medical care treatments, occupational therapies, counselling and emotional support.

In recent years, A J Morrisroe has been involved in the redevelopment of a carpark for Rennie Grove Hospice Care in St Albans. This year, Piper Joinery contributed to ongoing refurbishment works by designing and manufacturing bespoke joinery for a new conservatory and sunroom at the hospice.

Improving Accessibility for Hospice Care in Surrey

We were delighted to be involved in a CRASH project to redevelop an existing car parking facility, providing increased car parking spaces for visitors and residents at Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Care in Farnham, Surrey. A J Morrisroe managed the project.

Paul Batten, Director of Estates at the hospice, said he was delighted with the efficiency of the team and speed of the work being carried out.

Kairos Community Trust – Linden Grove Abstinence Support Hostel

Our joinery business, Piper Joinery, designed and manufactured doors and windows for a refurbishment project for a Kairos Community Trust Recovery Hub in South London.

Extensions and renovations to the hub will enable it to provide six “move on” accommodation units to men and women suffering from homelessness and addiction as well as well-equipped group and individual therapy rooms.
