A historic Westminster location and Grade II listed residences required a bespoke look that showcased British heritage in all its glory.
We designed and manufactured large arched doorsets, fielded and moulded wall panels, media units, wardrobes and curved joinery for the rotunda as well as all joinery units for two show apartments and a sales office. A combination of oak veneers, factory paint finishes and integrated LED lighting and sensors were incorporated throughout.

Conrad Heritage Apartment
02
The Conrad apartment retains a wealth of heritage features that have been meticulously restored to their original splendour. This required us to carefully repair, restore and replicate existing joinery elements to provide a high-quality finish.
The joinery work included the refurbishment of the existing intricately carved door frames, raised and fielded timber panelling and solid oak doorsets, along with the combination of new bespoke joinery fittings, which both compliment and contrast the historical joinery.
We also supplied and installed a new bar and adjacent full-height cupboards and shelving. The bar consisted of pre-finished paint lacquered cabinets to match the surrounding colour scheme, a contrasting marble worktop and all appliances and sanitaryware. All mirrors were mottled on antique gold mirrors, with the door mirror being supplied and installed in the joinery shop and the feature splashback designed as bevelled edge small diamond panels, which were installed in situ.
Vanity Units
03
The design of the vanity units consisted of a freestanding vanity base unit in both a single or double basin option with a mirrored cabinet above.
Our scope included the stone top, stone clad niche and under mounted basin. The mirrored cabinet included a polished stainless trim with a curved head and the cabinet recessed into a formed opening. We incorporated diffused LED strip lighting into the stone underneath the mirror cabinet.
Doorsets
04
The client required a cost-effective yet premium look that reflected the heritage feel of the homes. We devised a moulded panelled doorset finished with Karcher polished chrome hardware to meet all of these needs.
Wall Panelling
05
Part of the scope involved carefully refurbishing existing wall panelling in line with the English Heritage requirements.
The existing panelling was of various timbers throughout the apartments and the specification called for different finishes to the other timber. We initially removed any existing finish, carrying out veneer bubble repairs and splice repairs with matching timber. We then finished the panelling in lacquer to the specified sheen level.
